Post 1: Write about your experiences as an English learner

Hi!
For the following week you will be doing some activities with the goal of evaluating your level of English. This is necessary so we can dedicate time to target weak areas and reinforce those areas where you´re strong.

Task 1
Please take this grammar test and tell me what level you achieved at the end.
The results they give you will be in letters (A, A2, B1, B2, etc.). Make sure you write down this result to report it to me;
also, they tell you what questions you didnt get right, try to write down the topics you missed (for example, present perfect tense, modals (should may, etc.), prepositions, etc.).

Task 2
Please, write 1 or 2 paragraphs about the experience you´ve had learning the English language.
Include learning English in high school, university, as a professional, etc.
Tell what areas of learning you like more (speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar).
What are your strengths? (Are you good in grammar, better in speaking, prefer writing?)
What do you feel are your weaknesses?
Send this writing to my electronic email address: marciatorresxatruch158@gmail.com

Task 3
Watch the following video
Once you finish the video, write a brief summary to report to the teacher.

Task 4
Read the following passage and identify the
a. Topic
b. main idea
c. Two supporting sentences (or supporting details)
Write down your answers to have them ready for class.

Advertising affects our lives everyday. Brand names are common household words. We start each day using the toothpaste, soap, and breakfast foods promoted by advertisers. Ads have made the cars we drive signs of our success. Our choices of food, dress, and entertainment are swayed by ads. Not one aspect of American life is untouched by advertising.
